Hey, Sis! I meant to link to you with this video but I forgot when I posted. You were the inspiration for me looking it up. Yes, I liked this a lot. And for me it had nothing to do with the writing either and more about the teaching.

She was inspiring for me too and it had nothing to do with writing. More importantly you could be a her. You are that talented not just with the writing but with the ability to nurture others.

Are you being obsessive propulsive? That is what I am trying to do right now. And my sketchbook is filling up. It is not a career but I have faith again that that will come.

Haha, Anita! I'm not sure that watching them sleep would satisfy me. Do your kids write? I'd love to write with them. That is really what I want to do.

oceangirl - you flatter me! I'm not always so sure that I catch things. And that spoken word at the beginning really relies a lot on sayings and turns of phrase, at times they were quick for me. But the middle, the part where she described her student Charlotte and the writing exercise, that is where the embers ignited for me.

Kelly, you need to let yourself poke around TED for five hours one day. I know, it sounds absurd, but it will literally change your life. I watch about ten TED vids a week and I still learn some incredible lessons.
