I totally hear you about money and time (more and more programs are providing years of funding so I would encourage you to look if it ever behooves you). And I know this blogging and query-ing thing is a training in and of itself. DIY MFA!

Fun hearing about your MFA programs. I admire your work ethic and intelligence.
I don't think I'll get an MFA but I occasionally shout "MFer" at concerts.
