Full Moon: Oh time!
It’s the full moon and my writing for today has been revolving around many things. Things that I have written down and returned to to now avail. It hasn’t pulled together into a semblance of something for you to read. I was to serve up a 3rd part on Speaking to the Righteous, but it will wait.
I wrote and I went back and wrote some more and still the meaning and connections eluded me.
I put away that draft away to write here a bit about this process.
Usually time is my ally in this endeavor. Putting in some ground work, laying down the basis of a post in order to let time pass while it builds in the background of all the other things I do.
It starts as an idea that I want to explore, and sometimes, like this past week’s, it has been a lifetime of wondering. In this case, time has been corrosive, eroding the ground beneath my ideas, undoing the structures I thought to be foundational, so that it is a jumble that requires even more time to lace together into something intelligible. So instead of sharing it with you today, I will give it what it wants and share it with you next full moon.
Due to the eccentricity of the moon’s orbit, we have a bit longer between this full moon today and the third quarter moon next week. Link post comes around again on March 3rd, 8 good long days from now.
Surrender to what as of yet is unfinished and get out and enjoy the full moon.
