I created a template below to share a photo a day/single sentence per day of my trip while I am on the road. From Full Moon on 7/3 to this post today for Third Quarter Moon - also known as the intermediary phase of waning Gibbous. This letter was scheduled to post whether I had access to internet or not. So if this is blank in spots, I wasn’t able to get into it.
Day 1 - Fourth of July 🇺🇸
Woke just outside of Sioux City, after full moon night at a South Dakota campground with the greatest showers ever.
Day 2 - 7/5
Camping for two nights in a Black Hills National Forest Campground, a quiet 4th, good friends, and respite from the heat.
Day 3 - 7/6
Travel day from Black Hills to Big Horns with a stop in Gillette for provisions—local reporters here say they have had more rain here than they have ever seen—road washed out to our reserved campground, so scrambling to find a new one.
Day 4 - 7/7
Waking up in Tie Hack Campground, even big rainstorm at dinner time nor keys locked in car could dampen our spirits.
Day 5 - 7/8
Epic hike at West Tensleep with 2 river crossings and 5 moose.
Day 6 - Third Quarter Moon/Today, the day this posted 🌗
Hello, I am keeping this practice whether I have access to the internet or not, so if any of the above segments are blank, they will be updated as I can. In the case all are blank, this is your heads-up post that time keeps on slipping, slipping, slipping into the future and the moon keeps spinning on its merry way.
Much Love, Tina❤️
