If you are voting in Minnesota, here is a little photo tutorial.
Here are all the things you get inside the envoope when you are sent an absentee ballot (ballot not included). I can speak from experience - it is overwhelming when you first encounter it all. (The red pepper and Nivea were there and I decided I didn’t mind them in the photo.)
Once you get the ballot filled out, you place it in the manilla colored envelope.
The sealed ballot envelope goes inside the signature envelope. The next part you need to do with a registered voter. In fact that is what happens if you vote in advance at the early voting center. You essentially pick up your ballot there. The staff look you up in the registered voters file, get the correct ballot for your districts, print out your sticker with bar code, you vote at the nearby stations, and then a registered voter seated at the table seals the envelopes with a glue stick and signs off. There you go! Deposit it in the ballot box as you walk out the door.
If you aren’t yet registered, tomorrow is the deadline for registration both by mail and online. You can get registered in person on Election Day at your polling place. See what you will need above.
Below is the link to the final podcast in the moon meditation series:
There is one more week to this moon cycle until New Moon comes round again on October 25th and you will hear from me again that day. In the meantime do the third quarter moon meditation and feel free to upgrade to paid so you can go through the meditation again on the next round. Make the container stronger by repeating it.
She remains at home. Surrounded by people who love her. No update beyond that.
Upcoming Schedule
I am traveling this week and upcoming weeks to collect data in schools around the midwest. I also have a couple of retreats this month. So while my writing schedule may be a bit disrupted, I expect that I will maintain my podcast schedule. I’m not quite ready to finish out this lunation. Luckily the end doesn’t come until next week. In the meantime, time to post this. More soon.
